Meh... I'm kinda regretting signing up for as many exchanges as I did this month. I have too many other things to work on that have just piled up on my when I was feeling down and not in the mood to draw.
Feeling a little better... I guess. Still not completely myself.
Anyways, Viridian Phoenix's Renamaon character in a scary "digivolved" form. since the theme for the Anthro Sketch Xchange was transforming someone's character into a scary monster.
Meh. I'm not a fan of Digimon and the like AT ALL... but I think he worked out okay in my style.

'Nother commission of NewEnglander's were collie character, Laurie.
This time she is stopping a rock from crushing her flock of sheep. NewEnglander wanted her to be dressed in "She Hulk" type clothing. To durther enhance the she hulk-ness I beefed her up a little more then I usually draw her.
"You Owe me One"
Pic 5 of 9 in my Theran Gods series. The god of fire.
Finishing more work with my human characters. This has been sitting uncolored on my computer for a few weeks so today I finally decided to get off my ass and finish coloring it.
Tetra (AKA the Prince of Gryphons) is one of the main characters in my stories... and I haven't drawn him in a while... he needed more lovin'. I did change him a little bit. I mainly made him more masculine looking because I like my men to look like men.
And yes... Tetra is Ulario's husband.
This was mainly an exercise in piecing pictures together. And since I've been neglecting my gryphon characters lately I decided to go with my four male anthro gryphon characters. In order from left to right: Tori, Maverick, Paxton, and Asher (AKA Orion)
These were done on four seperate pieces of paper... each sketch was a quick 5-10 minute doodle. I like it enough to post the line art... but since it was rather quick and there are a ton of mistakes I'm not sure if I like it enough to color it or not. Part of me wants to color it... if only because each of these four characters have really cool individual markings that won't be added until the coloring stage....
**runs off to finish some commissions**

Though I've generally been trying to avoid drawing my own dragon characters lately, I figured that since I recently did a Species Sheet for my Theran Gryphons that it was only fair that I did species sheets for my Theran dragon species as well. Especially since these sheets are grat for using as references for commissions or exchange communities.
This one is for my Drakken'Re... or Spirit dragon species who are reminiscant of Chinese dragons. Species sheet for my Terra dragons (who are more based on European dragons) coming sometime in the near future... I hope.
I normally don't do requests. Period.
But when I was working on NewEnglander's latest commission, he mentioned his reindeer character in passing. I said that I had a reindeer character, myself but haven't drawn her in a number of years. He said that it would be interesting to see me draw her again since there aren't enough reindeer in the fandom. I have to agree with that. There aren't enough ungulates in the fandom... and most of the ones that are there are usually whitetail deer.
So. Here she is. Cassie the reindeer along with her boyfriend, Alex the bighorn. I haven't drawn either of these characters in about 4-5 years... and lets face it... my art back then was craptastic compared to what it is now... so I decided to see what they'd look like in my current style. I'm rather digging Alex's new look. I may have to draw more of him in the future... though right now I'm going to take artmaking a bit slower then I have been. I needs some time to myself and SWG.
This picture was done while I was stuck babysitting over the weekend and bored to tears. The drawing itself really was a quick sketch, but I did spend a decent amount of time on the coloring.
Kyuuketsuki Bat's fruit bat fursona. I love bats and hardly get to draw them so this one was a pleasure!
Meh. Lately I've been drawing more anthro critters then I'd like to be. I don't like drawing the same thing for long periods of time because it makes me seem like a one-note artist... which is definately not how I want to be remembered.
I've been wanting to get back into drawing some of my original alien species/worlds/characters... and ES-pecially my human(ish) characters since many of them definately need a new look. If I really had to choose a genre for myself as an artist, it would probably be a sci-fi/space opera illustrator 'cuz that's where the majority of my stories take place.
I love drawing some of my alien animal species in their natural environments so here are two Talokun (AKA Syvorian Dune Dragons... even though they're not really dragons. Not by a long shot. They're more closely related to dinosaurs or desert lizards.) battle on the sandy dunes of the desert planet, Syvor. I do have a little bit of a story about the creation of this piece, but it will have to wait until I post the colored version.
