Effin finally! Got this done! It's posted a little later then I normally like my annual Halloween pic to be... but this has been the month from helllllll! Admittedly, I did have to rush a few parts... but I wanted to get it done before tomorrow. The characters are as follows from left to right: Ran-Qui as Fox McCloud: Well, the female version of Fox anyways. I did take a little bit of creative license on his uniform to make it more flattering to the female form. Ulario as Lady Death: All too late I remembered that earlier this year I had plans to dress her as Lara Croft for my halloween pic this year. D'oh! Aredon as Professor Chaos: Butter's supervillain alter ego from South Park. This specific version of Prof. Chaos was taken from the first episode form season 8 titled "Good Times With Weapons". Gift art is one thing... I'm willing to do occassional gift art for anyone I consider to be a close friend. However, a sure fire way to tell that you're special to me is if I base a character in my fictional universe off of you. My friend, Azarus has become more like a big brother to me. Heck, I've talked to him about things that I would NEVER talk about with my real brother. So I decided to give him my ultimate honor of creating a character out of him. Az and I somewhat collaberated on this character's design. The end result is AJ here. (AJ's full name is Azail Jen). A little about AJ: He's an Ultimarian mercenary. He has a lot of darkness inside of him, but he still tres to do the right thing. And, just like Az, he speaks with a sexeh French accent. The face is someowhat based on Neo from the Matrix, since Az in RL looks like the Canadian version of Keanu Reeves. The background is not outer space. It is infact, what the night sky on Ultimare would look like. Unfortunately, us earthlings are used to teh uber-boring night space around our planet so the night sky of another planet may seem unusual or intense to us. Ultimare is nestled inside of a blue nebula.  Tags: gift art, human

So... Ghost and I went to see Clone Wars today. I didn't really have much expectation for it, but since I'm a self proclaimed "Star Wars Freak" I had to go see it. As much as I hate to say this... it did kinda suck. It was pretty much all action with a cheesy and very unoriginal storyline tacked onto it. Some of the parts of the story could have been very good, but the way it was presented was total fail. The dialogue was corny and some of the character's voices were very annoying. In particular, I couldn't stand Zero the Hutt's voice. He sounded like a backwoods hillbilly. Like the Clone Wars animated series, I HATED the animation style when I first saw it. However, Unlike the style of the series (which DID have a good storyline)... I did not grow into the movie's animation style. I still don't like the animation for this movie and I don't think I ever will. George Lucas just dosen't seem to give a fuck about lore anymore. But enough of my rantings... onto arts: I admit that I don't have much interest in having uber-close friendships with people I meet online, but Azarus would definately be an exception. We've been good friends since my early days of playing Matrix Online several years back. We both sort of migrated back to playing Star Wars galaxies around the same time. Earlier this year (April, I think) he contracted a case of "Mono on Steroids", which he still hasn't fully recovered from. I did this picture of his Dark Jedi character as sort of a "get well present". He was originally going to be fighting a Krayyt dragon, but I couldnt fit one in the picture... so it's three blistmoks instead. Some of the textures used were from CG textures.com For reference, I used screenshots of his character that I secretly took while we were hunting Krayyts the other night. He hasn't seen it, yet so I hope he likes it.  Tags: fan art, human
