She's named for the Andromeda galaxy... not the figure from Greek myth.

A few years back I used to do license style badges like this after seeing a few other people do them. I had a hard time paying for something I could do myself... so naturally I started doing them myself.

I haven't touched this style of badge in a long time, so I tried to give it another shot. They were fun to do.

I have a badge like this for all three of my alternate fursonas in the works. May open up commissions for them in the future.

Forty years after the death of Ulario, the defeat of the dark god, and the fall of the verin empire, The Theran species have earned their rightful place among the stars with the Azura't'oris Alliance.

For over a decade, Andromeda served as a royal guard to the first Theran Senator, but when Risight Mur, the head of the guard betrays the alliance and orders the murder of the Senator.

Loyal to the last, Andromeda refuses to carry out these orders. Risight frames her for the senator's attempted murder and she is labeled a traitor to Thera and the alliance.

Outcasted from the very alliance she swore to protect, Andromeda must find her place in the Azura't'oris universe.

I've been doing some work on the "next generation" part of the Azura't'oris universe, obviously. And for that, I needed a hero for that part of the timeline... an alternate fursona if you will.

Andromeda (Andy for short) is a Theran Gryphon. She is isn't even born until around 10 years after Ulario's death. She is a warrior, still loyal to the alliance that turned it's back on her.

Meh. I wanted to give her a more original name for her... but I couldn't get "Andromeda" out of my head. She is named for the galaxy rather then the figure from Greek Mythology so it fit her very well. Much more then an original name could I think.

I spent a lot of time designing the physical appearance of this character so no stealies! Keep your sticky fingers to yourselves, please.

I hope to have a character sheet for her eventually. I'm busy with commissions ATM, but since I am planning on using her as an alternate fursona, she will have one.

The image for my wedding invitations. I'm gonna start working on my invitations tomorrow and I'm just finishing this now. Talk about procrastination. LOL.

Not your standard wedding invitation image... but nothing about our wedding plans are standard or traditional.

Gryphon with a blue Fleur De Lis. The gryphon has been my personal symbol for years... and the Fleur De Lis is there because, well, my fiance is a Quebecer... and as he's always said "There's nothing that screams "Quebec" more then a blue fleur de lis". LOL.

Anyways, the date is official. We're getting married on May 22... less then a month from now.

Since I won't have anything worthy enough to upload here for a while (Will be a while before I finish my current commissions, and I'm not doing much other art since I'm busy working on my artbook), I decided to upload a sneak peek of my book.

This is page 3 of my upcoming artbook titled "Gryphons and Nebulas - the art of the Azura't'oris Universe". This book will encompass ALL of my fictional universe... meaning lots of aliens, gryphons, dragons, therans, and space art.

There will be quite a few full-sized pictures that take up the entire page... but also several pages like this with one or two smaller pictures to squeeze more art in.

I'm shooting to heve the book done by the middle to end of April... in time for Furry Connection North (Yah... I'm gonna be there ). Lots of work still needs to be done on it but I have added a poll to my DA Journal for my watchers to give their opinion on what subject matter the'd like to see more of in the book. Go vote!

I'll upload one more sneak peek when the book is close to being completed.

Well, not that the cat's out of the bag...

I've been secretly working on a side project for the past few weeks. It's an art book!

The full title of the book is "Gryphons and Nebulas: The Art of the Azura't'oris Universe" and it features art related to my fictional universe. ALL new art... nothing that I've posted online already. Nor will I ever have plans to post it online. It is exclusive art that will only be found in the book.

However, I may decide to post one or two pictures of the book closer to it's completion as a little "teaser".

I'm shooting to have it done in April (around the time of a certain Furry Convention up in my area), and I'm planning on making it about 50+ pages... though these may change depending on my schedule.

But yeah... this is the cover of the book minus the title. I decided to play with the title "Gryphons and Nebulas" a bit because I consider myself to be both a Science Fiction and Furry/Fantasy artist so I figured the mix would be appropriate. The critter featured on the cover is DreamWalker, one of the five gryphon lords of Thera. Lord of the Night Sky.
