Meh. My current state of depression has begun to take it's toll on my immune system. On top of all that other crap going on in my last (friends only) journal, I've caught whatever John has. Boo for being sick. >:(

My entry for this month's Anthro Sketch Xchange. December's theme was to draw our chosen with our own character doing something for the holidays. I got ThanAToast's dragon character, Clockwork. This was originally supposed to be a quick sketch... but I liked it so much I decided to color it.
She likes snow. I hate it. Whenever it snows I get bitchy. VERY bitchy. Even hot cocoa with whipped cream on top won't cheer me up.
Lately I've been turned off to drawing dragons... and especially turned off to using them in my calender. However, since I've been using the calender as an excuse to design "secong generation" characters lately I decided to include her.
Tenari is the offspring of my characters Mag & Kjata. She's a direct hybrid of the two Theran dragon species. According to the current time period that my fictional universe takes place in, she won't be born for another 15-20 years. She's shown as being in her late teens/early twenties in this picture.
I'm still behind on art that I need to get done. Even this calender is later then I normally like my calenders to be. I'm trying my hardest to get caught back up. I'm getting more used to my new tablet but I still don't have the control that I did with my old one, yet.
I've been considering discontinuing my calender series. On months like this, creating a new calender picture can be a big hassle. I haven't made any descisions for sure wheter or not I'm going to do this.

FINALLY finished this one. The sketches for this character sheet have been in my binder for quite some time... but a sick friend has made my too sad to do serious work.
Since the roll call for this month's dragon swap is up... and since I wanted to submit this character for it I decided to get my butt in gear and finish it.
Expect a character sheet for Mathazar and one for a quad gryphon character (for this month's gryphon xchange) soon.

Now for something I didn't draw. Usually I don't like to post things that others draw for me because I feel silly posting something that isn't mine... but this is just so full of win that it should get the fifteen minutes of fame it deserves. :p devhalena drew my fursona as Jayne Cobb from Firefly. It should be no surprise that I luvs teh Jayne. He's my buddy. :p
