Some background for those not familiar with what I do. I am a woodworker and wood artist, specializing in wildlife, furry, and fantasy themes. I carve, woodburn, and scroll original projects for fun.
I am formulating a plan for my next wood art project, and need a little assistance. The project is for me to build an electric guitar from scratch (or at least the body), and I want it to feature a relief-carved image of two dragons facing opposite directions. This will be a working guitar and I do expect to perform with it. The time frame is next March, in time to debut as a submission at next year's Anthrocon art show.
I was going to share some images of guitar body styles to take inspiration from, but I figure it easier to type in "BC RICH" in Google images for the best variety. Feel free to get creative with the shape.
What I need are sketches and general ideas of the layout and positioning of these dragons. The chosen sketch will be commissioned for the full concept art, and will receive full credit and payment. Ideas, interest, terms, and questions can be directed to my email: thrashbearATyahoo.com.
Thanks for reading.
P.S. I am open to other images, it's just that dragons are what I immediately thought of when I came up with this idea.

Name of Artist: Sapphire Website: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/mangoisl andcreations Character/species commissioned (link to photo/concept art): Character - Shayzo; Species - Spotted Hyena; Link - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2460203 Links to picture(s) of your commissioned item: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2463006 Is the item old or new (if old, how long have you had it/when was it made?) New --Grade each below aspect on a scale of 1 (worst) to 5 (best)--Visual Aspect: The suit was just as I had imagined it to be, and was better than the concept art I had given to work from (as I had no proper art, just second life work). Grade: 5 Service Aspect: Wonderful service, I had commissioned the suit to be completed for Anthrocon 2009 and that was when I got it. Sapphire sent me regular e-mails with progress photos and kept me up to date with the whole project all the time. Grade: 5 Workmanship Aspect: I've had no problems with the suit so far, it's taken an entire convention's wear and had nothing go wrong with it, hand paws were a little tight to put on and take off, but fit perfectly once worn. Grade: 4.9 Describe your Experience. Pros, Cons, Comments: Right from the first day I commissioned the suit I've had nothing short of an excellent experience, far surpassing my previous suit commission. Sapphire kept me up to date with progress photos and reports, was always well manored and polite, and has gone above my expectations to make sure I'm happy with what I got. Even in person after I recieved the suit, during Anthrocon, she made sure I was happy with everything. Final Grade (out of 5): 5. I would definatly reccomend Sapphire to anyone thinking about getting a fursuit as her work has been exemplary Tags: 2009, commission, partial Current Mood: happy
