Ulario's Online Sketchbook - March 10th, 2009

So... I'm seriously thinking about doing a livestream. Basically I set up a webcam and people can come to watch me draw and talk to me/ask questions. I've seen several other artists do this and it looks like lots of fun.

If there seems to be enough interest from people who want to come watch me draw, I'll go out and buy a web cam.

So... Ajay and I have started to get serious about finding an apartment. Unfortunately, a lot of the places around here don't allow pets... and those are definately out since I'll be bringing my baby African Grey with me.

There is one listing in the paper that we're very interested in... 1 bedroom, pets allowed, very close to where I go to school for $425 a month. That price is pretty average in my area. We're going to take a look at the place on Thursday. We already have all the things we'll need to move in... except for a bed. Everything else... furnature, plates, towels, and whatnot... we have between the two of us.

Now it's just a matter of Ajay going back to Canada to make final preperations. He still needs to sell his car and quit his job at the Casino. That job was hell on him. It was the reason why he became sick in the first place.

He still needs to apply for his Visa... but he's planning on moving everything down here to Michigan and settling in while he waits.

Things are going well for me. Except that I tripped over my computer case and twisted my ankle last night. It became swollen... and my entire foot was boiling hot. First time I've ever had my foot become hot like that. I had a very hard time walking on it last night. I took some advil and spent some time in the Jacuzzi and it feels much better this morning. Still hurts like hell if I touch it or put my weight on that foot, tho.

I'm trying to finish up a picture that I'm doing for the Anthro Sketch Xchange... plus I'm working on the nest three pages of stirrings.
